Use BTF to narrow data source?

Hi, I’m looking at your plugin as a possible solution to use on my site.

I’ve built a page using Visual Composer, which already has built in taxonomy filters, but it is lacking in a couple of things and I hope your plugin can help.

On my page I have chosen a few categories as a data source (hotels, restaurants..), however I cannot select it to use only source data from another custom taxonomy of location. i.e. It is sourcing all hotels, restaurants, etc in China, but I want to select by the custom taxonomy and display only hotels,etc in Shanghai. In this case I don’t need to display the location filter on the front end.
