Having trouble password protecting page just for visitors

I am trying to password protect a page solely for visitors- a user with no login goes to a certain page, is prompted for a password, after they enter it they can see the contents of that page; and every time they go to that page they will need to enter the password. All the other pages on the website are password free and open to the public.

I’ve been reading through multiple threads and it appears that simply setting the page to password protected is not enough; I need to add some functions to remove the cookies from the visitor visit so every time they access the page they need to re-enter the password (my goal). Is this true? How can achieve what I need to achieve?
