Visibility Not working after 3.0.4 update

Thanks for advising me.

Can you help in telling me exactly what appeared – ie Did the forums become visible, and how much was accessible – eg just forum titles, content etc.

This will help me track the problem down

If its not affecting others it could be something specific to our install, but for us it was treating all forums as though they had no restrictions so all priveledges could view forums, topics, freshness of forums they shouldn’t be able to see.

When switched back to 3.0.3 the proper forums disappeared from the forums list.

I too, have all forums visible to all users, which didn’t used to be the case. Not sure when that changed.

My testing user account, which should only have access to two forums, now can see all the forums, but when clicking on them, gets the 404 error.

Thanks Bet, and I’ve found the problem – just need to test the fix, and I’ll release.

I’ve just released 3.0.7 which fixes this issue.
