Slider only

Thank you. Create a new blank page, give it a name, for example ‘Home’, remember to select Page Wide under template select drop-down. Go to reading settings and in the drop down menu for Front Page select “Home. Save your settings and that’s it.

I am lost.

How can i only have the slider showing as my main page without the posts showing underneath the slider.

So if i create a static page, will i only have the slide showing as a homepage?
