  • You don’t. Pages are not for displaying posts.

What is it exactly what you want to do? Don’t tell the HOW, explain the WHAT.

What I mean is I want to update the page and I don’t want to go deleting evreything. I want it to still be there but in another ‘post’, and each time I update I want it to be in a new ‘post’.

I too would like to some advice on this option.

On the wesite I have, it is open to the public, but I would like certain people to be able to log in (I’m using role manager) with the abilities I assign and be able to post to “their” page.

To make this a little more clear….. Our website is for our Fire Fighters union, WordPress works great for everything I would like except this –

I have four pages (President’s Page, Vice-President’s Page, Secretary’s Page and Treasurer’s Page) under an “E-Board” heading. I would like to give each of those people the rights (ability under Role Manager) to post updates, letters, info, etc, under each of their pages so I don’t have to do it each time they have something to post. Also, I would like it in the post format so that you can scroll down and see each previous update. then I could allow only our members to see that page due to the content of the pages (sometimes don’t want the city to see what we’re talking about….)

Does that make sense? Not sure if I explained it well.

Sorry, I’m using WP 2.6.1 with a plan to upgrade to 2.6.2 very soon….

mmh55 – you need b2evolution. You can have multiple blogs at one address. Users with posting privileges can post on “their blog”. It’s included in Fantastico.
