    Hi Dan,

    The issue that caused that was resolved within a few hours of release. If you download and install a fresh copy from the WordPress directory, you’ll be good to go.

    Even with Version 1.9.6.2 I still need to have SpamShield disabled on “miscellaneous forms” for or WP Remote will not connect.

    Hi Dan,

    We issued a minor fix within 3 hours of release. You’ll need to uninstall your current copy of the plugin, and download a fresh copy of the plugin from the WordPress plugin repository.

    An easy way to do this is to use the WP-Rollback plugin to roll the plugin back to 1.9.6.1, and then rolling forward again to 1.9.6.2.
