Duplicate content

  • Cart, Checkout, My Account page content is duplicating so for example the following posts twice on the My Account Page:

    My Account
    Hello admin (not-admin? Sign out). From your account dashboard you can view your recent orders, manage your shipping and billing addresses and edit your password and account details.

    My Addresses
    The following addresses will be used on the checkout page by default.

    Billing Address
    Edit
    You have not set up this type of address yet.
    Shipping Address
    Edit
    You have not set up this type of address yet.

    I’ve been looking through everything I can think of and can’t figure out how it’s pulling twice. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  • I think this is because your page templates need updating. To prove this is so, temporarily switch to the default theme. This should resolve this problem.

    Your page templates come from your theme. Ensure you have the latest version of your theme. What theme are you using? When was it last updated? Ask your theme author if they can issue a theme update.

    Thank you for the response. I’m using Store theme. I’ll look into the switching the theme tonight and contacting the author for an update. I appreciate the help!
