• Just updated my sites to 4.3.1.
I also updated my themes– using Oxygen and Bootstrap Ecommerce

Not sure the issue is with the themes– in both mentioned above I am having problems with the customize, header, options and background under Appearance.

    1- the updates don’t take
2- it sees the background colors and images, knows what was set as tiled, but ignores it– even if I can save them
3- The problem seems to be with the customizing sidebar in all cases.
At the top of the sidebar, there is a Collapse button (which does nothing) and is partially obscured by the X to close the sidebar.
I do see the Save & Publish button, it looks to be alive, it “revolves” and then when you use the X to exit that capability– it goes back to the way it was, ignoring what looked to be changes.

Because this is happening to more than one theme, is it a WordPress issue? How do I get the customization options working again?
Note: I can see in the “view source” that it is calling for the image for the background, and the image does exist, but it is not bringing it to be viewed.

In both these cases, there is a funny body code–<body> (<body little box within which is 00 on the first row and 01 on the second>

Can you explain what is happening here? And how to fix it

Looks like the funny body code did not show up in the explanation I just gave.
It looks like a box within which is 00 on the first row and 01 on the second
