Kicked off while editing

So I edited a WordPress page and clicked “update” when I received a message stating that someone else had logged on to the page and took over editing control and thus my control of the page was temporarily foregone. If this occurred as the page was “updating” and thus the publishing of the changes did not formally occur, would there be a record of my changes made on the admin side of the website? (i.e. if this was a class, would the professor see my edit in the site’s history?)
