Events not working with custom permalinks

Hello:
My calender, located here:
https://www.msablesclassroom.com/scribe/ap-language/calendar/works fine when permalinks are set to default WordPress structure, but I have my permalinks set to Post Name (because the default is hard for users to navigate). When set to Post Name, when I click on the a calendar event, it brings me to a 404 page. Is there a way to make the calendar work with a permalink structure other than the WordPress default?
