Paypal Service Upgrades

    Hi,

    I’ve received an email from Paypal about upgrading their certificate to SHA-256. Will this have any effect on the plugin using the Paypal Standard payment set up? My site doesn’t have an SSL certificate, it just redirects the user out to Paypal to make their payment but I think the backend of the site uses IPN to tell whether payments have been made etc.

    Will I need to change any settings or apply an update? Or should everything just keep working as normal?

    This relates to SSL certificates installed on webservers. If you have a certificate installed, you should check whether or not it uses SHA-256 and update if needed.

    It does not relate to the Shopp code.

    Ah great, thanks. So if you dont use an SSL certificate its nothing to worry about? That’s good to know!
