Inline Link not showing, page reloading but email sent

  • Good Day,
    I have used your plugin for 3 of my websites and they have worked perfectly (thank you for a great plugin) but on a new site i am working on; the inline link doesn’t show and the page reloads, though the email is sent.

    I have read all the other support posts and followed every instruction such as checking for wp-footer in the footer.php template and checking the individual page template for get_footer; and my theme (amadeus theme) has all that already yet it doesn’t work. I have compared my settings with the other sites and seems to be okay.

    What should i do? Kindly provide a prompt response to my query.

  • I would guess that the problem has to do with ajax. It looks like when you press Submit on the form that it does a POST and then all of a sudden the page clears & it reloads. I would guess that EBD’s ajax is getting messed up because of one the many plugins on your page.

    You have several plugins that appear to do something with ajax. The wpsc ecommerce thing, i think there was about lead tracking, inbound analytics, shareaholic, etc. Way way way too many for anyone to figure out what’s going on.

    Assuming you have properly uploaded your file & your shortcode for EBD is correct — and I assume it is since you’ve done it on other sites — then one your plugins or something in your theme is conflicting. From looking at the huge number of files requested when the page loads, I’m guessing a number of those plugins aren’t needed for that page .. they’re probably used someone else on your site, right? If I were you I’d just disable every plugin I could for the purposes of testing EBD & it’s needed plugins, then start enabling plugins & testing until you figure out the problem.
