[Plugin] Duplicator Plugin shows white screen when running installer.php

  • Hi,

    I am currently trying to migrate my localhost wordpress installation to a live server useing the Duplicator Plugin. I also hope to use this plugin as my backup solution later as it promisses only some easy steps.

    When I now want to run the installer.php on my live server I just receive a blank screen. When I turn on my php error logs I receive:

    Warning: Unexpected character in input: '' (ASCII=27) state=0 in /customers/a/4/9/URL/httpd.www/installer.php on line 216 Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '???p' (T_STRING) in /customers/a/4/9/URL/httpd.www/installer.php on line 216

    Instead of URL it shows me my actual URL.
    Any suggestions please?

    Okay I could not resolve the issue after a few hours figguering and trying.

    Now I did everything manualy – what a shame as I really want to use the Plugin.
