• Hi,

I’m a complete beginner, trying to build my first site ASAP and am getting very frustrated. I’ve watched the long video which is great. To keep this simple:

    1. I have ‘past projects’ listed in my main menu
    2. Clicking on that takes me to three headings with corresponding images
    3. When I click on one of those I see ‘oops, that page can’t be found’. I want to add content there.

I need to write a description of the project, accompanied by a photo or two. How do I do this? Trying to do this now and have googled and checked all settings, but clearly I’m missing something. I’ve copied other bits of code as per video, but I’m not knowledgeable about that.

    Huge thanks,
    Stephen

  • Create a new page by going to your wp-admin panel > Pages > Add New

Then after you published your page, copy the url of your page and now go to
    Appearance > Menu

Link your new page url to the menu you want.

Thanks for your help. I think that has worked.

For some reason it’s appearing at the end of the main menu on the home page and I can’t seem to get rid of it there. Any idea?
