Adsense Manager – Security??

  • Hi Everyone,

    I hope you can quiet some misgivings about this plugin. I’m not super experienced with WP… so if its nothing to worry about, please forgive me.

    I installed adsense manager on my site. Every so often an ad will show that the image is broken. When I place my cursor over this place where my ad should be, the following URL shows up:

    https://www.dpbolvw.net/click-xxxxxxx-xxxxxxxx

    I placed “x’s” where there were numbers.

    I don’t know what this is, but I don’t like the idea that this plugin has another website’s URL embedded in it.

    When the ads show up correctly, there is no mention (that I can see) of the dpbolvw.net site. When this has happened before there was also another different site.

    I use adsense manager to place my own ads and not for google adsense… if that makes a difference.

    Please let me know what you think about this.

  • The only thing I can think now: do not double post after one (1) hour… not even after 24 hrs.

    If its helpful, I’ve googled “dpbolvw.net” , but have yet to find anything substantive about it… Hope someone can chime in.

    You’ll probably have better luck if you contact the plugin author directly and ask him.
