Changing Themes on Selected Pages

I am learning php by using the Default 1.6 Theme (at secondlifegolf.com). I would like one of the PAGES on the site to open with a different theme (JD-DESERT). I have studied the docs and realize that I should be able to do this but I get overwhelmed trying to figure it out.

Can someone give me a short description of how to do this and/or direct me to the very specific page in the docs I need to do this?
