  background: transparent !important;
}

Sorry, one more thing, what would be the code to remove the background color in the footer and to make the copywriter black after?

If I understood you right, this should do it.

}

.copyright, .unitedthemes{
  color: black !important;
}

I would suggest adding this CSS also so that the copyright moves down the page a bit so it looks a little better.

.copyright{
	font-size: 12px;
	margin-top: 80px;
}
