    Hi,
I’m setting up a LMS with courses which consist of several modules. I assigned a batch to each module (child) and another one to the completed course (parent). Is there a way to display badges in hierarchical order? I would like to show all, earned and un-earned, badges.
I have no clue how to achieve this. Any hint would be most welcome!
    Thanks a lot.

    Hi boesiger,

I’m a little confused as to what part is hierarchical, from your initial message. Is it the LMS courses/modules that need to be hierarchical? or achievements you’ve set up with them?

BadgeOS uses post types for the achievements that a users registers, and it looks like they’re all registered as hierarchical, so it’s easy enough to create parent/child relationships there. However, I do not know of any of the out-of-box tools for achievement display that factor that possibility in. That shouldn’t discourage trying stuff out, it would just mean there is some need for custom querying/display to show them in the way you need. Since they’re all post types, any standard WordPress method of querying will apply and work here.

    Hi Michael
Thanks for your answer. I’m trying to display the bagdes of all possible achievements in dependency of each other on one page. The shortcode you provide lists all of them, which helps a lot, but I didn’t find a way to group them hierarchically. I will have to customize the code then it seems.

Feel free to ask any questions you may have regarding the system and whatnot, I’ll answer the best I can.
