• For a complex reason, I have to install the customizr theme twice. But WordPress doesn’t let me do that because “the theme already exists”. Could you help in understanding how to do that?
Can I change the name of the theme somehow and install it?
    Please guide.
    Thanks.

  • You need to explain the complex reason, as that is a bizarre request!

Multisite may be the answer but need more explanation.

I’m using an “Ad displaying” plugin that displays ads. There are some desktop-only ads that are being displayed on mobile/tabs too. This happens because of a cache plugin (shows same cache to every user regardless of device). In order to fix this problem, I could show another theme for Mobile/tab users, BUT I couldn’t find a theme that I could use to replace Customizr.

If we manage to install the theme twice, I would simple use a theme switcher for mobile and present “Customizr-2” for mobile users.

    Thanks.
