Image Map not working on Mobile Devices

  • Ok folks, I know that there is a lot of discussion on this, but I still haven’t gotten to the bottom of my problem.

    I am designing the following site:

    I built a mapped image for the header which works great on a computer, but doesn’t seem to work at all on a mobile device. I simply inserted the HTML for the mapped image into the header widget. I just installed the Responsive Image Maps plugin which didn’t seem to help. Spacious is my theme.

    Any suggestions here would be greatly appreciated.
