    Hi all!

I’m new to wordpress but loving it, although its painful for noob like me to try and modify things!

basically i want to add a link under the “home” section of my sidebar (see https://www.chrissayburn.com) to link back to the sites front page but i dont know the html code to do it and got fed up after searching google for nearly 2 hours!

i love the template im using but…it doesnt have widget support which is SOOOOO frustrating as i have loads of widgets i would have liked to have used!! ??

    thanks for any help

    Chris

  • You can edit the sidebar.php in your theme and just add a link, since you aren’t using widgets it’s pretty easy to do.

Hello WP folks, I have a question and hopefully someone can answer. At my blog https://www.receivablesinsurance.net I am trying to add a home page link to the menu bar at the top of the page. All links that show currently are page links and I haven’t figured out how to add a Home page link that redirects to the home or main blog page. If I create a new page in WP, call it Home, and enter code to redirect it to the main page, not only does this not work but it also enters the word “Home” at the top of the page. Any suggestions on how to add the home page link and have it just redirect it there?
