WC Order Screen Constantly Loading Wistia Embed

    My browser keeps getting hung up on the WC orders page because WC is calling an embed from distillary.wistia.com. I’m using Firefox and WC 2.4.6. Is there any way to disable or remove this embed code. My browser keeps hanging/crashing, and I can’t work with orders. Thanks for any help!

  • Yes, that is a bit of fun indeed. Rolling back the class-wc-admin-help.php file (under includes – admin) to a previous version before the wistia embeds seems to work without other issues for the moment (ours is from a 2.3.13 backup).

    I’ve noticed the same problem – I’ve been building an e-commerce website for the last few months and it’s never happened until today. I’m definitely interested in finding a solution to this.

    I have Ad Block on Firefox. I added .wistia.net to the block filter and the endless loop that was stalling/crashing my browser is gone. Not really a fix, but gets the job done without hacking any files.
