Landing Page Not Responsive

  • I do a little bit of work for a client using the Genesis theme, but they have some sort of child theme going. They asked me to create a landing page for them, which I did, but it is not responsive. The page in question:

    If I look at the site in general on my iPhone and Kindle Fire, the header is not responsive but the text below seems to be. I didn’t do the design on this site, nor am I involved in the design now, just this page.

    Is there anything I should do differently on the page or is this a theme-wide problem?

  • I would say have a look at some of their other pages if you have access to them to see if it is a theme wide problem, if it is then really it is up to them to sort it out and not you

    Thanks. As I said, the home page responds except for the header, so maybe it doesn’t. It needs to be updated and hasn’t been – again, not my problem. I’ll look at a few more pages.

    Well i know that it isn’t an issue with the Genesis theme in general as i use a child theme for my website, however you may find that it could be an issue with this child theme, if you are concerned about it after looking at a few more pages you can always ask your client if it is supposed to be responsive or if they just want it the same as all the others etc.

    Okay thanks. They want responsive but it doesn’t seem that they have it. Unfortunately (or fortunately) I’m buried in a different project and other than asking for help here, I don’t have time to dig into it – and since I don’t suspect it’s my issue anyway I’m not giving it a ton of time unless someone tells me I should.
