Drawback of the plugin

    I love Duplicator but here is what i’ve experienced many times when migrated wp site to another server.

    We know that almost every modern super wp theme have WPBakery Visual Composer plugin built-in. And if you try to migrate that site with Duplicator, your pages that were built with WPBakery plugin will be broken in editor (shown as text codes, not blocks that are easy to use). Pages and whole site will be good, but if you next time go to the pages to make some changes, you will see text codes instead of visual composer blocks.. that’s the problem.

    I’ve tried to do my best to convert them back to Visual Composer blocks and rows but was unable to do.

    Just wanted to mention in this topic my experiences. I hope Duplicator will fix this problem in upcoming updates.

    If you can get the authors of the plugin to get me a copy of the plugin I could add the research item to back-log to research. Have you tried reaching out to the WPBakery authors to see if they might now the issue?

    No i didn’t get in touch with them yet.
    I can give you a copy of WPBakery VC plugin if you want, but it’s not the latest version, it is 4.6.2 and latest is currently 4.7.
