Please don’t strip my nbsps!

  • This is really irritating me.

    My old website used the “nbsp” HTML entity to add space between images and lines of text. It worked well. But now that I’m turning those old webpages to WordPress ‘Pages’, the editor seems to be stripping out the nbsps for no reason. I type them and when I save, they get turned to normal spaces – which are then ignored when I click on save again.

    Is this some sort of limitation of the software? Or is this a legitimate bug?
