Could not log in wordpress

This sounds like a problem that was solved with Version 2.3.1.

Try deleting your WordPress file, then upload the 2.3.1 files.

Thanks Miachel, i did that but I have to log in tn order to run web500.us/wp-admin/upgrade.php, right? That will give me an error message. Regards, Norman

Don’t necessarily have to login to run the upgrade.php but when I visit https://web500.us/wp-login.php and click on the ‘Back to web500’ link it takes me to https://web500.us/comprehensive-and-search-engines/

That tells me your Options->General, Blog address (URL) is set to https://web500.us/comprehensive-and-search-engines/

So that confuses me…

You may need to review where you are uploading your WordPress files.

Thanks you so much Michael. I have backed up, cleared all the files, and then reinstalled 2.31 version. It works now. There is one thing i worry is the google adsense i put it early on. SO i did not put ads on this time. Now it is fine. Regards, norman
