• Yes, this plugin is near perfect, everything there one could use but nothing to complicated either – yet, how is this “most popular searches” thing supposed to work please??
    See
    https://useroo-arts-business-webdirectory.buycelergen.com/
the search box is under the + button that slides in from the right had side.
I made a search and returns really the way it should and also with the high lightet search term, but AFTER i made the search i wanted to see if it shows up in the most popular searches spot (i call “trending searches”) – and there’s nada there.
I tried it several times (i only just installed the plugin an hour ago), searching, refreshing page, also hitting the recreate index botton in settings, still, nada.

Does this function / widget need some time frame before it starts counting searches, or a certain minimum number of searches or what or how is it not showing anything, i also just now tried to disable the integration with my theme, boy that looked messy and the slide in sidebar went away all together, and still it shows “no searches made yet”

    Where’s the trouble??

From what I can see, the tracking seems to be working fine.

Do you see any searches showing up in the widget in your WordPress Dashboard? i.e. when you just login to /wp-admin

    Thanks WebberZone,
i think i am just getting to old for this ??
    meaning …..
I did my test searches while i was logged in to wp-admin and had the plugin set not to count admin and editor activities .. duh, no wonder there’s no counting, it only occurred to me later, in the middle of the night, when i woke up from a nightmare, and i tested it this morning without being logged in and, of course, it works just fine!!

The only thing that odes not seem to do what it is supposed to is the PRIORITIZE thing.
I have set title to 10 and description to 1 (from the initial 1 for title and 10 for desc), but it still does not prioritize (Example, most used search term “f1”, shows Ferrari F1 as title still below the other entries where F1 is only in the description.

Hi F1 will not work because of the limitations of mySQL’s full text index. Only words 4 letters and above are counted.
