• Hi support,

I backed up a website I developed on my local machine (localhost), and uploaded the backup file to a live site (with valid url). Then I restored using this backup file.

I then changed the url of certain pages and links (manually) to make sure that they refer to the right pages and links.

    I have encountered 2 problems

    1. My mailchimp form, using another plugin which works fine in the localhost, but fails to valid the Mailchimp API on the live site.

I have tried everything, deleted the plugin, changed the form, changed APIs, but still could not get the live site access to the API. But it works fine on localhost.

    2. I now want to create a backup file on the live site, and when I went to execute it, it went away trying to perform the task, but ultimately comes back with the message below.

“The plugin encountered an error during the database backup, the following error message was returned:
Error Message : MySQL server has gone away

Temporary files created in /home/www/vietnamesecommunity.org.au/wp-content/uploads/wp-clone/wpclone_backup will be deleted.”

I even deleted the WP Clone plugin, and reinstalled it but still didn’t work.

Much appreciate if you can tell me what problems am I encountering?

    Regards
    Nam
