• I followed the instructions for migrating my blog to a new server (same URL), but the old files aren’t getting read in- esp. old posts.

1.Is there a way to do this?
2.Did this happen beacuase my DB_Name changed (server demand)?
    3. In what file are my posts stored anyway?

    2. Not likely.
    1. To do what?

so how come i have copied my new files into the appropriate blog folder and no old entries show up?

There is nothing in the files – I already told you above.
If you really did follow the instructions for move, you would have migrated the database. If you didn’t… no content was brought over.
