Slow Page load times when Plugin is enabled

When I have the plugin enabled, the page load times are ridiculously slow (14-30seconds per request load, and post), disabling the plugin fixes the problem.
Does anyone have any idea what is causing this problem?
Plugin Version: 1.8.0.1
And operating with Contact Form 7 veersion 4.2.2Thank you
