when i put my link on facebook it wont show my blog title or the avatar.

it just says “(no title)” and a no avatar. this is just linking my homepage.

i dont have plugins as im still a free account and i do not have the “blog title” filled in but hidden as i have a header image.

What is wrong?

You should try adding some meta tags to the <head> in header.php.
This one should fix the image issue.
<meta property="og:image" content="https://example.com/exampleimage.jpg"/>

You can try this in the <head> to see if it corrects your title problems.
<title><?php wp_title(); ?></title>

For the meta tag, place it in header.php before the </head> tag. For the title fix, you need to make sure there is nothing already in header.php that describes a title before placing this in.

Go to Appearance, Editor, then you should see it in the right menu.

i dont see appearance. i clicked on the “my site” in the top left but only have themes and menu under look and feel. :/

the newest as far as i know! i found appareance but not editor i only have themes, customize, widgets, header, background, theme options and mobile :/ no sign of editor

I know that. If you go to Users, Profile, are you an Admin? Just trying to figure out why you don’t have an Edit link.

Do you have a security plugin making it where you cannot edit templates in the admin area?
