Woocommerce customers can view members-only content

Love the WP-members plugin! I am using it for our chapter members to view members-only pages. Their user role is Subscriber.

But now that I’m using Woocommerce for people to register/pay for events, if the user creates a Woocommerce account, that user can now log-in and view the members-only content/pages. Their user role is Customer.

I contacted Woocommerce and they suggested the Edit User Role plug-in. I looked into that and it seems I’d have to buy the Pro version in order to block members-only content from Woocommerce Customers. (Limited funds so can’t try the Pro version at this time.

Is there anything in WP-members plugin that would enable the Customers to not have access to the Subscriber’s members-only content?
