I am using the mystile theme. I upgraded my test site to the lastest woocommerce update 2.4. My variable prices in the store now come up as free on the product page but are fine in the checkout page. I only used numerical values no “$” or other values for prices and I priced each variable. I am using Canadian dollars if that changes anything. I would appreciate any ideas how I can fix this. I am stumped. I tried updating permalinks and changing themes but that did not seem to help. I also tried updating the themework and updating the theme files that woocommerce identified as outdated. That did not help either.

  • Same problem for us, most variations are not showing as free after update to 2.4.

Same for us on the Divi theme: https://visionarycongress.org/visionary-art-greeting-cards/ – this appears on the front end of the store, in the products themselves, and the back end product page. The prices are fine at check out. Please fix this.

I’ve deactivated 2.4, renamed it’s folder (I didn’t want to risk just deleting it all) and uploaded and activated 2.3.13 which seems to have sorted the pricing problem.

It happened to me also. I had to go in and add “.00” to my price is it was a flat “10.00” Not sure if there is a better fix but it then showed my pricing correct again.

This is due to missing _stock_status meta at variation level. We’re writing an upgrade routine to take care of this so stay tuned for an update.

Me too on maya shop. Let me know when we can update.

    Thanks

Me too! Good thing someone caught this “free” for variable products – $1000 products marked free isn’t good Woo people!!! WTF!! You guys gotta test this sh*t properly before releasing updates. The variable products price field when editing were gone. Not even there in the admin. Crazy!! This is serious and I don’t have time to troubleshoot your stuff for you. Costs time and money folks. Come on get this fixed ASAP! Dam good thing I was able to restore the site to yesterday. Waiting before updating Woo again.

@stardaug See the dev blog. It’s been in testing a while, and live on woothemes.com for 2 weeks. If its not reported, it cannot be fixed.

Point release incoming, as mentioned above.

Just updated to 2.4.1 and items are still showing as free.

Just updated, sad to say no change ??

@mikejolley – thanks for the update on this issue.

I think my point is, and especially if the latest version has been running on woothemes.com for 2 weeks now, that this shouldn’t be happening. There is no way you guys could miss this problem if so many others are having it straight out of the gate. Perhaps the “quality dept” needs a shake up. Something like this causes big problems in many different ways for everyone. Heck I was giving away $1000 products if someone hadn’t alerted me to it. I’m sure I’m not the only one deeply concerned.

    Thanks,

    S.

Your not giving away anything, as soon as they go to there cart its says the true price, no one could buy your product for nothing.

I know its not great but the plugin is free, generally i think its a solid plugin and far better than anything else on the market.
