removes the ability to see what is in view panel

  • Same here. Ftp in and append _backup to deactivate plugin. Then went to developer tab and downloaded and extracted previous version. uploaded previous version and removed appended extension and was backup and running.

    It is unfortunate that an update caused much trouble to all of us. As a patch, replace the contents of that file (wp-content/plugins/gallery-plugin/inc/demo-data/demo-data-loader.php) with this gist. In the meanwhile, let us hope the plugin author comes up with an update.
