my permalinks do not work!

    Hi, I don’t know what seem to be the problem but my permalinks don’t work..My index page shows the posts..but when you click on my posts or pages.. it shows a blank page..my theme doesn’t show either…

    Anyone here can help me?? Is this something to do with wordpress? or is it a server error?

    anyone please help??

    additional question..where in wordpress are my “posts” saved? In case I decide to delete my current wordpress install. I don’t want to lose my current posts…

    Try updating your permalinks again. Go to options > permalinks then update. Scroll down to the bottom of the page, are there any errors?
    Your post are in your database so just make sure you have a backup of that before doing any major work on wp.

    yes thank you!!! I was so close to deleting it..huhu…

    I’ve updated it and now it’s working fine…

    does this thing happen often?
