Format of dates in email

  • I have a form collecting information including dates. The field formats OK in the form using

    [date Arrival date-format:dd/mm/yy]

    but when I receive the email there is no formatting with the date showing as yyyy-mm-dd. I use the following in the email

    [_format_Arrival "D, d M y"]

    I thought I had copied the instructions in the Contact 7 Docs (Link) but it doesn’t seem to work. Can anyone see why?

    I use Outlook to read the email
