category view – how to enable -more-

  • hi,
    i’m working on ‘culture guide’ type of page for our city. We’ve got usually 2-10 records for each day in calendar. If I click on the selected day in calendar, it automatically shows all the articles within, but alltogehter, part before <-more-> as well as part after that.
    Is there any possibility how to enable <-more-> function even within category (calendar) view?

  • Is your archive.php file using <?php the_excerpt(); ?> or something other than <?php the_content(); ?>? The -more- tag will only work with the_content.
