This plugin does not create customers on stripe account as it doesn’t has feature of subscription yet

The stripe customer would be exclusively needed when you go for subscription In current state of plugin i don’t see any need to add customers to stripe as we are taking all details like shipping billing address first name last name for customer

Please correct me if i am wrong

    Nasrul,

On our store, we like to check that not only woocommerce has the order, but stripe has received payment for that same customer, that way we know money is received.

So now, if 100 people buy something according to woocommerce, but stripe says 99, I have no way to work out who has paid and who has not.

    Does this make sense?

Well who has paid can be found on woo commerce order status if charge is paid then order status is complete and in pending if charge not paid

Another thing is if same user buys 10 times so how to manage this will customer created all 10 times ?

    Thanks for this information Nazrul.

From my perspective, the biggest advantage to the customer being created in Stipe system, is that Stripe then stores their card details for future use in your shopping cart (assuming the stripe plugin supports that). This is a big plus, I think, for stores who have regular repeat customers. They don’t have to enter in their card details every time they purchase.

Is this a feature you are likely to add any time soon?

    Hi Jonathan,

Yes i am working on this feature , There will be a check box at checkout form for first time users so if they check the check box a customer is created at stripe and card returned by stripe will be stored in user meta but this feature will be available for logged in users only ( as they are regular)

Plus they can be able to delete old cards

And when they(customer) come back they will be able to select the card and checkout

However i thought to release this as paid feature at very nominal price maybe $4.49 USD type to accumulate some funds ?? for adding subscription and Preorder support in future

I would like to know your thought on this

    Thanks
    Nazrul

    Hello Nazrul,
I would happily pay even up to $10 USD for your plugin, if it included a decent handling of creating a customer on Stripe, and then allowing the customer to have their card(s) stored and recalled on future orders.

If at all possible, please update this post or email me on email (AT) best-mac-tips (DOT)com when you have this feature implemented, and ready for purchase.

    Cheers,
    Jonathan

    Hey Nazrul,

I am also interested in these exact updates. When do you think the code will be ready for testing and/or release?

    Thanks!

    @nazrulhassanmca
How complicated is it to move away from Stripe for WooCommerce to your plugin? What are the steps required?

    Thank you,
    Jake

    Frankly @goknows

1- it doesn’t have preorder support
    2- it doesn’t support subscription
3- it doesn’t support saved card
    4- it’s not PCI compliant

If you are okay with above
1-Install and go to settings page and add the required keys
2- test with sandbox then live mode with test product of $1
3- make sure you are using at least 2.2 or above version of WooCommerce
