Sort in Hungarian

    Hello Tobias and all of You!

    I am making a Hungarian (and English) website. There is a Table in it, what can be sorted. However, the result is that all accented letters are at the end of the list.
    In Hungarian the “á” is just after “a”, and “é” is after “e”, etc.

    So, in one way or another the sort should know that it is a Hungarian table, and sort it accordingly.

    How may I make it sorted in Hungarian?

    (I have searched on the net… and did not find a solution yet…)

    Hi Tamas,

    thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

    I see what you mean, but unfortunately, there’s nothing that I can do about this ??
    This sorting is done by the external DataTables JavaScript library, and from what I know that also relies on the native sorting of JavaScript.
    You might want to check at https://www.datatables.net/ but I doubt that there’s a solution ?? Sorry.

    Tobias! On the Hungarian WP forum Farkas Gy?z? (Admin) sent me this link:

    Hi Tamas,

    sorry, this is not something that I can integrate. It would have to be integrated into the DataTables JavaScript library, but I’m not the developer of that ??
