Parked domain – Permalinks not working

Hey Guys,
I have read lots of forum topics on similar problems but have not been able to fix it.

To begin I will give you a overview of the setup:

My website domain is parked at:
https://www.joehamilton.info/00parked/hellavate.com/

My wordpress blog is installed at:
https://www.joehamilton.info/00parked/hellavate.com/wordpress/

In the root htaccess file (https://www.joehamilton.info/.htaccess)
I forward the domain https://www.hellavate.com to https://www.joehamilton.info/00parked/hellavate.com/

So that works all fine.

The problem is when I try and setup the permalinks I keep getting “HTTP Error 500 – Internal server error” or the links just dont work.

I have tried putting the .htaccess file created by wordpress>options>permalinks in these directories:
https://www.joehamilton.info/00parked/hellavate.com/
https://www.joehamilton.info/00parked/hellavate.com/wordpress
https://www.joehamilton.info/

Not sure what else to try.
Any thoughts, suggestions would be appreciated.
