    Hello,

I searched in all the pages in this forum but couldn’t find a solution to this. I’ve been liking My Calendar so far but now I really need to make this work. I’m using Ultimate Shortcodes in some pages in my site and now I need to show a button inside each of my events but it just won’t work, the shortcode shows itself in text and won’t load anything.

Edit: By the way, I tried a few plugins that allow the use of PHP inside posts and pages and used the PHP code to show the button instead but it doesn’t work either.

Is there any solution to this?

    Thanks in advance.

Shortcodes aren’t enabled in My Calendar descriptions by default; did you turn that feature on?

Not all shortcodes will work with My Calendar; shortcodes that make use of the $post global won’t work.

Where is that option? It doesn’t have to do with $post global, no matter the shortcode it shows in text-form. I can’t find any option to enable shortcodes in My Calendar, which is what I need, can you please help me?

It’s not in a very logical place in version 2.3. Go to My Calendar > Settings, Output Settings, ‘Event Details Pop-up’ and check the box for ‘Process WordPress shortcodes in descriptions’.

Thank you so much. I feel very stupid even though I searched for it, I couldn’t find it. All it’s working now, thank you again and sorry for bothering.
