• site is running the latest wordpress with wp-cache 2.1.2 and serves 1.2 million pageviews a month. it does anywhere from 20,000 to 50,000 pageviews a day, depending on the day of the week. the traffic is continually increasing and on some days the server is brought down multiple times. i have to go in and reboot it. i was hoping someone could help me out with some settings for apache and mysql to help lessen the load and help the server cope with the traffic. i think the 1 server should be fine, but in the future we are looking at going with 2 servers … one DB and one HTTP. this is on a dedicated server. let me know what information you need to see (commands to get that info will be helpful as well). also if you want to contact me privately you can … don[dot]lacuran[at]gmail[dot]com (replace [dot] with .) thank you!

I work in a very important radio from my country. We have 800.000 pageviews monthly in the old site. Well… let’s make this history short… Apache crash every half an our, 100% cpu, very slow…
Well… the server we have used to serve at least 8 sites (MSSQL, ASP), 3 millon pageviews monthly. So I guess WordPress is not the best option to very popular sites like your.
