Excerpt limited to 5 words

    Sorry, I could not reconstruct your case. The higher the number I set as maximum count of characters (length) the longer the text on the frontend.

    Maybe some function which hooks on excerpt_length does take effect in your installation. The theme? Another plugin? Can you set the excerpt length elsewhere?

    Ended up switching to a different plug-in as i couldn’t get this one to work. Thanks anyways
