How to Remove Menu from Search results page

  • I have a custom menu. When i do a search from my site using the search bar on that came with the theme, all of the menu items show up on the menu. how do i change this? Let me know if you guys need clarification.

  • Create a child theme, copy your original theme’s search.php file over to your child theme, and make your changes there.

    Im using the twenty thirteen theme.

    What changes would i need to make to my search.php file?
