• Today I find that my some users can’t add posts. Contributors and Authors. They have no Posts — Add new. They have no + button on the top-horizontal backend nav.

I tried 2 plugins (I already had Capabilities Manager Enhanced running for the last year). Tried another well-tested one as well. No change.

How can I get my users posting ability back, please?

    Thanks, JH

When asking for help in the forums, please provide the URL to your site, and let us know what theme and plugins you’re using.

First step is disable your plugins and see if the problem goes away.

Then try one of the standard WordPress themes.

    Hello, thanks for the advice.

The theme is custom. It is very basic php/css. A very small amount of js.

    I’ll check the plugins.

I have noticed after setting up my website there is no ADD new post link. I can do from admin but as a user can not: what is the url so I can make a link? I have tried many without success: I know it sounds stupid like problem but I been messing aronud for 3 hours now? Trying different links. I can’t find any info because it’s so simple but not for me at the moment. https://thaiexpatsnews.com/ this site is only a week old.
