Translation WooCommerce not working correctly

Hey there, sorry if this post is in the wrong section, I’m new here.
Recently I started a Dutch webshop using WooCommerce. I noticed however that some phrases like ‘proceed to checkout’and ‘add to cart’ are not being translated to Dutch eventhough they are translated in the .po file.

After doing some research I figured out it’s possible to change the text by going into the WooCommerce templates and replacing the text in the .php files. This is somewhat of a struggle though and I’m sure there’s a better way to resolve this issue.
