uploaded image not showing in media

  • After uploading image from my file it does not show in Media and unable to view in a post. If I go to edit image in Media the image is there but still unable to post it. I tried with Hostgator first but after 3 attempts where unable to fix this problem.

    Make sure you have 755 permissions at wp-content/uploads/ and all its subfolders. You can assign permissions from cPanel file Manager. For more suggestions, please refer following similar thread:

    Have check it and it has 755 permissions. Still the same problem. Its funny that the image shows in the “edit image” in Media but does not show up any where else.

    Go to Settings -> Media, and where it says Store uploads in this folder, make sure there’s wp-content/uploads specified.

    If that doesn’t work, try unchecking the Organize my uploads into month- and year-based folders box. It does the trick for some people.

    New uploaded image is not showing from month- and year-based folders. but no Problem if I upload to Uploads folder not any month- and year-based Sub folders. My web URL https://www.pcjar.com
    Please help me. A lot of image already uploded to month- and year-based folders not sowing in both Public Post or admin Media library.
