Instant Page not displayed error

I’ve just got wordpress up and running on my website. the setup and installation seemed to go through all fine and i got to the dashboard. I then set my permalinks to Date and name format(as in ? https://workhate.co.uk/index.php/2007/10/12/hello-world/).

Then i went to write my first post, which i marked under uncatagorised. Once it was finished, i saved, and i published. I then went to view it, but it immeidately comes up witha page cannot be displayed error from the ‘view post’ link.

Thinking it hadn’t saved properly or something, i went to the manage section but found it was still listed there, and if i went to edit i could still dit the post, but if i click on view, it goes straight to page cannot be displayed.

Though interestingly, it i go straight to site root (www.workhate.co.uk), i see the post there.

Also, the ‘hello world’ post doesn’t show up either.

Page cannot be displayed is a 404.

Can anyone help?
