• I have migrated my blog to wordpress. I used to use feedburner. I went into my feedburner account and created a csv file to paste into the subscribe2 plugin. I then hit “subscribe.” It said success.

The problem is that new posts don’t go to all of the subscribers. The new posts only go to people who have signed up via the subscribe2 plugin on the new wordpress site. As such, it appears to me that you cannot import a list of emails into the subscribe2 plugin. I’ve searched all over the plugin and it looks like everything is fine. All 300+ subscribers are listed as public subscribers and they are confirmed.

    Any thoughts?

Have you installed an email logging plugin to see if emails are being generated – they may be being blocked on your server by your hosting provider.

See the trouble shooting guide here:

Yeah, I did a few tests. An email log plugin shows that only one address is being delivered to. It is the email account set up through wordpress with my domain name.

Actually I’m not so sure. The emails are logged and showing me as the recipient. I guess I shouldn’t be expecting to see 300 sent emails in my log should I?

Now I’m not certain if the email sent or not. I have another gmail account which I signed up to receive blog post emails and it works. However, the test gmail account (wife) that I “imported” like the feedburner csv does not work.

I called my hosting company and they said the server should be set up appropriately for these emails to be sent. they say it is a plugin issue.

It sounds like you have set the number of recipients per email to something other than 1 in Subscribe2->Settings under the Email Settings tab.

Try changing this setting back to 1 and you’ll find that the email log gives better information.
