Some events are excluded due to lack of orderBy

    Our site has many recurring events extending off for years, so when the 2500 are returned, some events that occur today are excluded since (I assumed) they were created after the events years from now.

    If I add:
    $query .= ‘&orderBy=startTime’;

    to create_feed() in includes/class-gce-feed.php, all of todays events show up. Can this, or an option to include it, get added to the plugin, please?

    yes that’s a Google limitation

    but have you tried setting a earlier Latest Feed Event Date in the feed settings?

    as for your request, we are currently rebuilding the plugin – I will pin this down in the todo list for the new plugin, I think perhaps a new setting can go there

    it likely won’t go in the current branch – if you need this in a hurry and changing feed dates as suggested doesn’t help perhaps you should continue with your patch until it’s implemented
